Dracokosai Regime

The first empire of the Dracokosai ended during the War against the Gods, seen as allies of the Dragons, the gods and their servants struck against them and destroyed their Empire if not their race.

For a thousand years and more, the Dracokosai rebuild their strength in secrecy, preparing to return to their rightful place. Gathering secrets, magic and numbers, they grew in strength and waited for the right moment.

Their preparations at last complete, the Dracokosai took over the states they had turned into puppet governments in a series of nearly bloodless coups. Proclaiming the new Dracokosai Regimes on the Empress' Birthday.

The new Empire soon found itself abutting the Dark Star Dominion, the two powers avoided war by turning on a third, the Carnaki Principalities. The peace struck between the two lasted until Ba'ai'i turned on the Dracokosai, dragging them into the conflict known as the Nightmare War.

With the aid of their allies in the South, they were able to defeat the Dominion at a great cost in lives and material.

The new Dracokosai Regime is based on six Directorates, each responsible for distinct yet overlapping areas, under the leadership of the Most High Talon, He-who-grasps-the-Stars. The Directorates compete with each other for influence and resources, each maintaining their own military forces and networks.

Each Directorate is commanded by a High Talon with a proliferation of lesser officers.
